Organic essential oils are used in aromatherapy and massage for their healing properties - which are expressed in both the scents and in the physical properties of the source plant. Essential oils can be mixed with carrier oils to form massage products and aromatherapy oils, the properties of which are then diffused gently through the skin or inhalation.
Please note that organic essential oils are almost always used in blend with carrier oils or in gently heated vapour form. In some cases the neat use of essential oils directly on the skin can be harmful. If you are unsure regarding the use of Aromatherapy products we thoroughly recommend our book An Introductory Guide To Aromatherapy.
Please browse our range of essential oils to find the perfect products for your requirements. We also stock the carrier oils required to mix them in safe proportion. If you require a presentation box for the finished product, you might like to try one of our aromatherapy starter kit boxes, which can contain everything you need to get you started. They also make a great gift.

Aromatherapy OilsYou may hear of essential oils referred to as aromatherapy oils, essences, or simply as the "oil of" the plant in question. In all cases, these oils are extracted using a distillation process to achieve the purest form of the active and healing ingredient of the plant.
Different aromatherapy oils have different properties. Some have purely physical healing properties, while others are used in spiritual and psychological healing as well. Bergamot, for example, is a commonly used essential oil in preparations to calm the nerves; but may also be used to treat patients who are incapable of giving and receiving love.
Remember that aromatherapy oils are concentrated and powerful. Before use, they should be properly mixed with a carrier oil to prevent any adverse impact
For more information about any of these essential oils please refer to our highly recommended book An Introductory Guide To Aromatherapy or you can call us or email us using the address provided in our Contact Us page
